FCEM was
honoured in Tunisia August 8, 2006, to celebrate with the women entrepreneurs of
Tunisia the 50 th anniversary of women's equal rights and for the bestowing
the premier FCEM Trophy of Honour, this year conferred to Mme. Leila Ben Ali
First Lady of Tunisia.
FCEM
World President Françoise Foning headed up a delegation of FCEM Steering
Committee members and friends to the festivities in Tunisia for the celebration
of the 5O th anniversary of the promulgation of the Code of Personal Status of
August 13, 1956, which gave Tunisian women their equal
rights. The
FCEM Trophy of Honour is an innovation of the mandate of FCEM World President
Françoise Foning who heads up the association since October 2005. This
distinction, demonstrating the gratitude of women entrepreneurs, will be
bestowed each year to a personality that has been distinguished in their work
and efforts for the empowerment and integration of women in economic
development. |
